As Senior Partner of Ward Williams, James is responsible for leading the partnership’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations.
James is a chartered surveyor with over 25 years of experience in the construction and property industry. He has worked for contractors, property developers and consultancies in the UK, Europe and Middle East.
During his time overseas, James was the client Project Director for the mega project, the Mall of Egypt, a retail and leisure destination that included the first indoor Ski and Snow Park in Africa. He has experience in arts, sports, leisure, retail, commercial, defence, healthcare, education, private residential and mixed-use schemes with complex planning and infrastructure.
Philosophically, he believes project, development, and programme leadership must be founded upon trust and carefully considered delivery models where risk and reward are distributed appropriately. Drawing upon his diverse experience as a contractor, client, and consultant, he helps drive innovation to benefit clients and industry partners.
