Saudi Arabia’s first skyscraper, the 267-meter tall Al Faisaliah tower was designed by the Buro Happold & Sir Norman Foster joint venture.

The 34 storey high rise tower forms the centrepiece of the mixed development comprising a office block, a luxury six star hotel for the Redwood Group, a multi-level shopping mall, banqueting and conference facilities and luxury apartments on a prominent site in Riyadh city centre which can be seen from any point on the horizon.

At the time the Middle East’s tallest structure, this 1995 project also has special significance in the history of Ward Williams. Invited to collaborate with some of the worlds finest consultants, it marked our growing capacity and reputation.
